As an orthodontist, I am committed to making my patients’ experiences in our office as comfortable and personalized as possible. I believe that establishing trust with my patients is every bit as important as my training and continuing education. I look forward to practicing orthodontics for many years to come and creating beautiful smiles that last a lifetime.

I attend continuing education throughout the year to keep pace with rapid developments in orthodontic technology and find ways to improve patient care. I am involved in local dental societies and study clubs and share my knowledge by guest lecturing at the University of West Virginia School of Dentistry.

Outside the Office

I am originally from Morgantown, West Virginia.  I love calling Charlotte my home and being a part of a wonderful community.  I am married to Dr. Stephanie Chen, a well respected pediatric dentist in Charlotte.  Dr. Chen and I love animals and traveling to interesting locations.  I am a sports enthusiast and enjoy football and basketball. My hobbies include cycling, scuba diving, fly fishing, boating, and playing golf.  I also enjoy high performance driving on road tracks throughout the southeast.
