Meet the Staff
Suzanne
As one of our administrative assistants, I schedule our patients’ appointments and answer their questions when they or their parents call the office. I have worked here since 2006 and have enjoyed every minute I've spent here and every new smile I’ve seen. I love talking with our patients and becoming a small part of their lives. Drs. Arkle and Harris have truly created a family atmosphere here, and we all work together as a spectacular team. My husband’s name is John and we have two daughters, Meghan and Madison, a cat named Sophie, and a dog named Chloe. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
Brandy
I have been a clinical assistant with Arkle and Harris Orthodontics since 1998. I work mostly in the clinic area, assisting the doctors when they place and adjust braces. Working in orthodontics is great because I get to meet so many interesting people and watch as their smiles are transformed. I am married to my husband, Mike, and we have a son named Will, a daughter named Aniston, and a new puppy, Maci. My free time is taken up by shopping, volunteering at my kids’ schools, exercising, and hanging out with friends on the weekends.
Judy
As a clinical assistant, I help our doctors when they’re placing braces and adjusting appliances. I have been working at Arkle & Harris Orthodontics since 1993. I love working with our patients and seeing the changes that our practice has made in their lives. I also enjoy seeing the beautiful smiles they achieve through orthodontics. Our doctors are great at what they do; they are committed to their patients and their team and we’re all able to work together. My husband, Rob, and I have two daughters, Tiffany and Brittany, and three pets named Misty, Lily, and Paisley. Most of my free time is spent walking the dogs and visiting with family and friends.
Wende
I am one of our administrative assistants, so I can be found in the front office answering patients’ questions and scheduling appointments. I have worked here since 2000 and have learned so much from Drs. Arkle and Harris. I even got my beautiful smile here as a teenager! They are so helpful and knowledgeable about maintaining professional and quality service. Our team loves working together, and our patients can sense that by the warm and inviting nature of our office. I have two great dogs; Dixie, a Labrador, and a Rat terrier mix named Dudrick von Barkingham III, or Buddy for short. I love bargain shopping, beading, and going to the beach in my free time.
Jodi
As our lab technician and clinical assistant, I am responsible for making many of the appliances we use as well as processing the stone models of the teeth taken for records. I love talking with patients, learning about their interests, and getting to know each one of them personally. Being a part of the process to help our patients' smiles improve is so rewarding, and working with this team is like working with family. My husband, Greg, and I have one son named Liam and a cat named Mischief. I love camping with friends and family, roller skating with my son, and traveling.
Martha
As our financial coordinator, I am responsible for the financial aspects of our practice, from setting up no-interest contracts to accepting payments. It is my goal to make orthodontic treatment as convenient as possible and to be able to fit it within each family’s budget. Drs. Arkle and Harris have a high level of respect for us as a team and consistently show it every single day, making this office a truly great place to work. My husband, Mark, and I have three four-legged children; two dogs named Max and Maggie and a cat named Mac. In my free time, I enjoy being active in my church, renovating our home, and antique shopping.
Julie
I have been with Drs. Arkle and Harris since 2003. I introduce new patients to our office and walk them through the process of their exam and placement of braces. I love to answer patients' and parents' questions about treatment, especially during the beginning and introduction to orthodontics. I am always available to address any questions or concerns that arise during orthodontic treatment. I am married to my husband, Scott, and we have two daughters, Laura and Eva, as well as two cats, Rascal and Prissy, and two dogs, Chewey and Bubbles. I love being outside and spend most of my free time gardening, swimming, walking, and biking.
Christa
I work as both a clinical assistant and a treatment coordinator, so I can be found assisting our doctors as they place braces or guiding new patients through their first steps as an orthodontic patient. I love talking to people, especially children, and hearing the funny and interesting things they have to say. Customer service is our number one goal, and we treat our patients like they are family or close friends. Our doctors are always challenging me to do bigger and better things. They know my potential, even when I sometimes don't, and they push me towards that goal and help me along the way! My husband, Tyler, and I have one four-legged child; a Boxer named RJ. I spend my free time shopping, traveling, going out on the lake and wake boarding, dancing, and going to the beach. I am also a member of Kingsway Baptist Church and do a lot of outreach programs and volunteer work.
Tera
I have worked as a clinical assistant for Drs. Arkle and Harris since 2006. I love having the opportunity to work with so many unique patients and watching as their smiles transform throughout their treatments. It’s such a wonderful feeling to watch our patients see their new smiles for the first time. This is a wonderful practice, and the doctors and rest of the team are dedicated to helping each patient achieve a beautiful smile. My husband’s name is Jaime and we have a Shih-Tzu named Davidson and an Australian Shepherd named Daisy. I love watching reality TV and doing anything with the outdoors.
Patty
I have been working in this office since 1995. I love working in orthodontics, getting to know my patients, and using different techniques to give each of our patients their own unique smile. As an orthodontic assistant, it is my job to help our doctors with each treatment and to make sure that our patients feel comfortable during every office visit. Our team here is wonderful! Everybody has a great sense of humor, great personalities, and compassion for our patients. My husband, Scott, and I have two sons, Austin and Tanner, and two dogs, Duke and Bo. When I have free time I enjoy rose gardening and line dancing.
